Relief activities done by Dr. KCG Verghese Charitable Foundation

Dr. KCG Verghese Charitable Foundation involves itself in the fight against the novel Corona Virus(Covid 19) . The covid warriors of the Trust include the Trustees, the members of the Management and Faculty of Hindustan Group of Institutions, i.e Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, KCG College of Technology, Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology, Hindustan College, Mysuru and Orient Flights Aviation Academy in association with the Y'sm Club of Mylapore, Padappai, Chennai OMR and the Rotary Club.

The Y’sm Club of Chennai OMR and the Rotary Club distributed relief kits to the migrant workers in and around Padur and Kelambakkam at the VAO's office, Kelambakkam.250 families were given these kits.	KITS consisting of Rice, Dhall and Oil have been distributed by Mr. John Louis, IAS.,the District Collector, at his office at Chenglepet. More than 3000 families from the nearby villages were benefitted
Dr. Aby Sam, Director of HGI distributing relief kits at Neelankarai and Injambakkam.	Relief materials distributed for 100 famlies by HCAS at Chenglepet by the Block Development Officer.
